Sixty-two original destinations implement the finite six-module anatomy/physiology foundation and whole-course synthesis. Actual CC0 tissue micrographs, original mechanism investigations and retained source-aware assessments support bounded structure–function reasoning; independent learner and practical competence remain separately assessed.
This is the course outline. Open a unit to choose a lesson; every lesson opens on its own page. Explanations and experiments live inside those lesson pages.
Preparation and course boundaries
Preparation: Cell biology, membranes and basic chemistry at General Biology I level; ratios, units and graph interpretation. No clinical training, specimen handling, programming or personal physiological measurement is required.
Course outcome: Identify tissues from actual supplied images; connect skin/bone/muscle, neural/endocrine, transport, metabolic/renal and immune/reproductive structures to bounded function; defend original integrated evidence with critique and unfamiliar transfer without clinical inference.
All lessons are directly accessible. Reused foundation explanations are identified where relevant; completing a different course does not award this course's evidence. The 62 registered lessons keep separate predictions, captures, practice responses and reflections.
Module 1 — Tissue evidence, organization and internal boundaries8 lessons
Use subject-relative directions and actual licensed tissue images; distinguish structure from function, conserve particles/water and explain feedback and shared-system coupling.
Compare x=+1 with x=−1 at z=+2. Name the subject-relative relation and front-view screen relation separately. Then identify which coordinate is fixed by each section plane; distinguish a projection from a slice.
Inspect the real epithelial image and retain two visible features and one uncertain feature. Compare model angles 0° and 60° without changing thickness. Explain why nuclear rows and apparent width cannot alone distinguish simple from stratified tissue.
Compare θ=0°,45°,90° at f=0.5, then change f at fixed 45°. Retain the two projection steps and identify features in the actual tissue image that the single-direction model omits.
Compare the actual muscle and neuron images and retain two discriminating visible features plus one unresolved feature. Then compare areas 20/80 versus 50/50 in the synthetic packet, preserving tissue fractions and total area.
Hold epithelial resistance at 2 and vary the support resistance. Retain flux and both drops; identify a separate measurement that could distinguish a support-layer change from an altered reservoir gradient.
Compare initial shifts −0.5,0,+0.5 L at the same outside addition 300 mosmol. Retain initial concentrations, direction and final volumes. Identify which omitted pressure or permeability assumption would invalidate the calculation.
Compare g=0.5 and g=1.5 at d=1, then remove the disturbance. Record equilibrium, first step and whether the deviations alternate; do not equate a crossing of the target with a changed target.
Hold shared resistance at 2 and compare A resistance 2 versus 1. Check flow conservation and both pressure drops. State what independent measurement would distinguish a changed B resistance from a changed shared supply pressure.
Module 2 — Integument, skeleton and muscle11 lessons
Identify support/motion structures and explain their renewal, material geometry, joint kinematics, sarcomere activation and force boundaries without clinical or injury-threshold claims.
Compare external resistance 1 and 5 at subcutaneous resistance 1. Reconstruct all interface temperatures and identify the omitted vascular or evaporative mechanism that would require a new model.
Compare input 10 versus 15 at b=0.5. Retain the first three simultaneous updates and the complete entry/inventory/shedding balance. Then alter transit fraction without claiming a measured biological time scale.
Change inner radius at fixed material area and E, then change E at fixed geometry. Preserve area, I and EI separately. Explain why the model cannot establish an actual bone’s failure load.
Compare matched formation/resorption totals with a mismatch and record the minimum, final value and time order. Propose an observation that distinguishes low turnover from high balanced turnover at the same endpoint.
Compare radius versus humerus on the same side, then switch subject side. Separately compare sternum and vertebral column and state their anterior/posterior relationship rather than reading depth from screen left/right.
Change proximal orientation with bend held fixed, then change bend with proximal orientation fixed. Compare endpoint coordinates with radial distance and explain why joint rotation is not the same quantity as endpoint displacement.
Compare L=2.4 and 3.6 with thin length 1. Retain all band boundaries, then reduce thin length to 0.8 without claiming this is a physiological contraction mechanism. Explain why overlap and activation are separate evidence.
Compare speeds 20 and 40 m/s at path 0.4 m, then compare path lengths at fixed speed. Retain every stage and propose which intermediate observation could distinguish delayed propagation from delayed calcium activation.
Compare recruitment at fixed frequency and frequency at fixed recruitment. Retain maximum capacity and activation fraction separately, and reject the explanation that a larger whole-muscle force necessarily means taller action potentials.
Compare activation 0 and 0.5 at L=1.2, then compare lengths 0.8 and 1.2 at the same activation. Separate the symmetric active capacity from the asymmetric passive term.
Compare tendon angles 30° and 90° at fixed pennation, then alter pennation at fixed tendon angle. Keep moment arm, tendon force and fiber resultant separate. Identify which extra forces are needed before computing joint reaction.
Module 3 — Neural and endocrine regulation10 lessons
Identify neural and endocrine pathways, distinguish electrical/chemical signal mechanisms, and discriminate competing transport, receptor and feedback explanations with bounded original evidence.
Toggle each edge while retaining the same input. Record which downstream paths remain and name at least one omitted descending or alternative pathway that limits a real anatomical interpretation.
Compare gB=0 with 0.5 at fixed A ratio 0.1, then change A ratio at fixed conductance. Retain both reversal potentials and both current directions; distinguish maintained gradients from equilibrium.
Compare λ=2 and λ=1 at node spacing 1. Retain first arriving amplitude, successful-node count and final passive versus regenerated outputs. Explain which parts of an actual action potential are absent.
Compare shunt 0 and2 at excitation 1, then set excitation 0 at both shunts. Retain voltage, total conductance and both currents; explain why the no-excitation resting voltage stays unchanged.
Compare center/surround 8/4 with 10/6 and8/8. Retain both absolute intensities and signed output, and describe a temporal-adaptation observation this static filter cannot predict.
Change afferent length at a fixed postganglionic length, then change the latter alone. Reconstruct every segment and explain why the fictional totals cannot be compared with a person’s response.
At total 6, compare carrier capacity 0,4 and8. Reconstruct the conservation equation and target occupancy, then state why a receptor-bound fraction does not establish the physiological effect.
Compare volumes1 and3 at secretion 4, then compare secretion 2 and6 at volume 2. Retain concentration, amount and time scales separately; do not infer secretion from one transient observation.
Compare target gains0.5 and1 at drive 4, then change drive at fixed gain. Retain both equilibrium equations and distinguish the step20 values from exact fixed points.
Hold the observed steady concentration fixed and compare all clearance candidates. Retain fitted secretion, half-life and one-time observation prediction; name a volume/binding/feedback change that would invalidate the simple discrimination.
Module 4 — Circulation, respiration and transport10 lessons
Trace circulation and respiratory pathways, apply pressure-flow and gas-content conservation, and defend an integrated oxygen-delivery case without clinical or safety claims.
Compare ventricular pressures 0, 6 and 10 at arterial pressure 8. Trace the full circulation and record both valve gradients rather than relying on the words contraction or relaxation.
Change end-diastolic volume and ejection pressure separately. Reconstruct all four loop vertices, stroke volume, fraction and both work terms. State which physiological causes of a changed loop remain unidentified.
Compare all compliances at period 1, then change period at fixed compliance. Retain peak, trough, mean and integrated outflow, distinguishing the instantaneous pulse from the displayed runoff segment.
Change capillary pressure and lymph return independently. Close the two-compartment volume ledger, and identify which fixed pressure or protein assumption would fail if actual tissue volume changed substantially.
Compare0.2 L at 30/min with0.6 L at 10/min. Retain the common minute volume and both dead-space and alveolar terms; explain why actual gas exchange still needs perfusion and membrane evidence.
Compare area and thickness changes separately. Retain both resistances and drops, then name an independent ventilation or perfusion observation needed before interpreting whole-system transport.
Vary f at fixed bypass, then bypass at fixed f. Keep all three flow fractions, amount rates and the final denominator; explain why increasing one branch’s ventilation cannot be modeled simply by averaging pressures.
Hold pressure ratio fixed while changing capacity, then hold capacity fixed while changing pressure. Record the separate bound and dissolved terms and identify a missing affinity factor.
Compare denominator changes with numerator changes. Derive the two extrema explicitly, retain units and identify a storage or sampling observation that would invalidate the steady inference.
Compare demands20 and30 at flow 4, then flow 6 at demand 30. Retain delivery, permitted uptake, unmet demand and venous content, and state an upstream observation that distinguishes low flow from low content.
Module 5 — Digestion, metabolism, renal and fluid regulation11 lessons
Trace nutrient transformations and renal transport, conserve energy/solute/water ledgers, and distinguish compensation of a sensed ratio from restoration of original amounts and mechanisms.
Change chain length at fixed total chain count. Count links, water and glucose independently, then close each atom ledger and explain why a bond count is not a digestion-time estimate.
Trace the two routes and vary only soluble retention. Retain the separate input, retained and outgoing ledgers and name one later process that the snapshot omits.
At input 300 compare all routing fractions, then use input 100 to inspect a deficit. Retain energy and mass units separately and list the omitted water, synthesis and adaptive terms.
Change filtration and reabsorption separately, preserving the secretion term. Trace where each transfer originates and ends, and distinguish amount rates from a missing urine-water rate.
Compare concentrations across the ideal threshold at fixed Tm, then vary Tm. Retain equality as a zero-spill boundary and distinguish a concentration threshold from an amount-rate maximum.
Compare allowed urine flows at each net tubular flux. Retain numerator and denominator units, and distinguish the inert marker assumption from the unknown solute’s behavior.
Reconstruct every signed local transfer and the net carrier/environment balance. Compare deep-turn concentration with final return concentration, then name the loop transport and water mechanisms intentionally missing from this exchanger.
Hold delivered water fixed and vary return fraction, then change delivered water at a fixed fraction. Close water and osmole balances and name a gradient observation required before attributing the change to ADH.
Compare acid-removal fractions at each base amount. Record both pools, ratio, pH and missing base; explain why a corrected ratio alone cannot identify the initiating mechanism.
Vary the water-per-solute ratio at a fixed added amount. Retain all three final variables and propose independent evidence distinguishing concentration compensation from full amount/volume restoration.
Module 6 — Immunity, reproduction and integrated homeostasis10 lessons
Trace immune and reproductive structures, distinguish conditional defense and developmental mechanisms, and defend integrated compensation with conserved amounts and explicit capacity limits.
Vary entry and downstream removal separately. Retain each stage’s denominator and explain a composition change that would make the fixed downstream fraction inappropriate.
Compare the input-on plateau or trend with the post-input decay at different removal coefficients. Retain the known cessation boundary and identify what would remain ambiguous without it.
Change precursor amount and elapsed steps separately, retaining the two activation schedules. Identify a specificity or resource observation required before connecting these clone units to protection.
Vary each clone amount separately and retain the full two-antigen response vector. Explain which additional signal helps distinguish abundance from specificity and where linearity could fail.
Compare the two ideal pathways at the same primary-cell count. Retain chromosomes per nucleus, DNA per nucleus, total DNA and the asymmetric functional assignment; explain the stipulated completion boundary.
Compare high levels and thresholds, retaining the complete five-point sequence and the trigger index. Explain which actual ovarian and uterine mechanisms this binary gate leaves out.
Vary rounds and allocation fraction independently. Close the cell-number and volume totals, and explain why the numerical categories do not identify actual human embryonic stages.
Change maternal and fetal flow separately. Close each amount-rate ledger and the conductance relation, and distinguish the hypothetical tracer from actual oxygen or hormone transport.
Compare volume 2/resistance 2 with volume 4/resistance 1, then hold resistance 2 while conceptually restoring volume 4. Retain pressure, flow and volume deficit as distinct quantities.
Compare capacities at fixed environment, then warmer environments at fixed capacity. Retain the sign of dry heat flow and the nonzero storage term, and identify omitted circulation and water-balance effects.
Full-course anatomical evidence and mechanism defense2 lessons
Connect six anatomical capability clusters through actual licensed tissue evidence, original compartment and mechanism analysis, retained first reasoning, human critique and unfamiliar transfer without clinical overclaiming.
Compare routing at fixed total flow, then total flow at fixed routing. Keep both local limits, flow-weighted return and the separate renal marker ledger. Find a case that meets all demands and explain which fixed assumptions prevent extrapolating it to a real person.
Retain the complete candidate-prediction table before selecting one. Hide and reveal the hormone and temporal records independently. Explain how uncertainty or an omitted mechanism could defeat a unique selection, then connect the logic to a named anatomical pathway without diagnosing a person.
Investigation portfolio
Keep predictions before comparison, complete raw records and units, explain competing models and test a changed case. Supplied and simulated data are labeled in each lesson. A saved notebook is not proof of experimental technique or correct reasoning.

Mixed assessment and retained reasoning
These 33 course-specific public tasks are practice, not a secure examination. Each retains up to three immutable written responses, known feedback exposure before each response, and human rubric critiques. Drafts remain editable. Whole-course structure, mechanism and integrated-homeostasis portfolio
Build an original six-module anatomical portfolio using the four actual licensed tissue micrographs and distinct virtual mechanism records. Retain complete first reasoning and source identities; do not relabel model outputs as participant observations, guided image recognition as blinded performance or a course checklist as clinical competence.
Freeze source and six-module investigation plan
Before public feedback, identify actual image sources, fictional mechanism packets, all six capability rows, competing explanations and the evidence needed to discriminate them. Preserve assistance and prior exposure.
Evidence to retain: First plan with source/version/reuse basis, original predictions and explicit no-participant-testing boundary.
Defend actual tissue observations and mechanics
Audit at least two actual supplied micrographs with visible features and alternatives, then connect skin/bone/muscle organization to a retained lever, contraction or structural calculation and changed case.
Evidence to retain: Exact image identity, observations, anatomical annotations, mechanical units and no diagnostic/injury claim.
Connect regulatory pathways and transport
Trace a named neural/endocrine pathway and perturbation, defend response timing and receptor alternatives, then close a circulation/respiration flow or diffusion budget and integrated regional delivery case.
Evidence to retain: Named pathway, compatible mechanisms, units, capacity limits and flow-weighted transport calculation.

Substantive critique, revision, unfamiliar transfer and practical limits
Retain raw-data identifiers, provenance, units, prior predictions, methods, calculations, competing explanations and safety boundaries. State explicitly when data are simulated, supplied or genuinely observed. This saved text cannot verify a real experiment; do not invent measurements or completed supervised work. Maximum 12,000 characters; retain larger evidence files separately and cite them.
A nonempty report is only a saved submission. First and revised reports remain separate and cannot be overwritten. A critique of the first report is required before retaining one revision.
Fresh transfer direction
A reviewer supplies a new tissue field, changes a force/flow boundary, alters receptor versus clearance evidence or removes an assumed feedback relation. Explain what survives, what changes and what remains unresolved without individual clinical inference.
A human must supply the actual new task, evidence and conditions before the learner responds. The transfer-direction text is not itself an unseen assessment. Use the retained assignment form after the first project; exposed public task identifier: expanded-public:college-anatomy.
Science backups preserve each course's separate responses, exposure, rubric reviews and project history. Older backups do not reset attempts or erase known exposure. Divergent same-version immutable responses and incompatible same-version project histories are rejected rather than silently replaced; preserve both files for review.

Save a science backup or import one
Science work is stored locally in this browser, separately from mathematics and AI. It does not sync automatically. Use this science-only backup; this checkout's older all-subject export does not include science.
A legacy file is available only when the complete snapshot fits the 36 MB limit. For larger snapshots, prepare a complete file set below; never discard notebooks to make a smaller file.
Matching imported notebook drafts replace their current drafts. Omitted lessons and known first attempts remain. Export your current work first if you want to retain both drafts.
Complete file sets and course backups
A file set can hold more work than one science file. Keep its manifest and every part together. Each file is limited to 36 MB. This format needs this version of LearnAI or a compatible newer version; older versions can use only the legacy single-file backup above.
The set includes every saved science course and global continuation at this moment. Later edits need a new export. A conflicting tab exports its own visible work, which may differ from saved work in another tab.
0 file(s) selected. File order and filenames do not determine identity. Missing, changed or conflicting parts block the entire restore; no good part is applied by itself.
Science storage: loading. No account or remote computation is required.
