Ask a question that can be tested
Choose a measurement that could contradict an explanation.
Design a test, inspect uncertainty, compare explanations and write a reproducible scientific argument.
This is the course outline. Open a unit to choose a lesson; every lesson opens on its own page. Explanations and experiments live inside those lesson pages.
Start with arithmetic, percentages and graph reading. No programming or equipment is needed for the guided browser investigations. Each lesson explains the extra mathematics where it is used.
0/12 lessons completed; 0 skipped in the suggested sequence. These counts can overlap. Skipping does not award completion or demonstrated understanding.
Choose a measurement that could contradict an explanation.
Compare prediction separation with measurement error before collecting data.
Explain how resolution changes a measurement without changing its underlying quantity.
Calculate a correction and explain what it does not repair.
Compute group means and diagnose a confounded headline difference.
Explain what matching controls and replication can each identify.
Compare a sample mean with a known finite population and explain selection bias.
Calculate how independent averaging affects standard error while retaining bias.
Compare observed and predicted positions with consistent units.
State a fresh test and an assumption that can fail outside the fitted conditions.
Specify units, reference, resolution, correction and retained observations.
Distinguish a result, its interpretation and a test that could reverse the interpretation.
Additional calibration investigation and retained review workflow: compare offset and gain, test a changed range, and preserve a first report, revision and actual review. Existing version-1 requirements below remain unchanged.
Version 1 requires all twelve lesson notebooks, a submitted investigation with evidence from at least two mechanisms and a comparison within one mechanism, plus four separate numerical transfer checks. A matched check establishes only its stated claim. Scientific reasoning and physical technique are not automatically graded.
These introductory models use synthetic data. Other Science courses include explicitly attributed empirical records and source images, labeled separately from generated examples. Working with those records does not establish that a learner performed the original measurement or completed supervised practical work.
Science work is stored locally in this browser, separately from mathematics and AI. It does not sync automatically. Use this science-only backup; this checkout's older all-subject export does not include science.
A legacy file is available only when the complete snapshot fits the 36 MB limit. For larger snapshots, prepare a complete file set below; never discard notebooks to make a smaller file.
Matching imported notebook drafts replace their current drafts. Omitted lessons and known first attempts remain. Export your current work first if you want to retain both drafts.
A file set can hold more work than one science file. Keep its manifest and every part together. Each file is limited to 36 MB. This format needs this version of LearnAI or a compatible newer version; older versions can use only the legacy single-file backup above.
The set includes every saved science course and global continuation at this moment. Later edits need a new export. A conflicting tab exports its own visible work, which may differ from saved work in another tab.
0 file(s) selected. File order and filenames do not determine identity. Missing, changed or conflicting parts block the entire restore; no good part is applied by itself.
Science storage: loading. No account or remote computation is required.
