Choose the colours that are easiest for you to distinguish. Applies to lesson diagrams and lab plots. Labels, shapes, hatching and line patterns also distinguish meanings. Source photographs and raw image brightness stay unchanged; mask-only views are available for image overlays.

AP Chemistry investigation portfolio

Sixteen investigation evidence folders

These are course-specific investigation briefs, not a record of sixteen conducted laboratories. Six guided-inquiry briefs ask you to choose a discriminating design; ten structured briefs supply a narrower question. Each requires raw evidence, analysis, provenance and critique. Opening a folder or filling text never awards practical competence.

The AP course audit calls for substantial hands-on inquiry and retained laboratory reports. This software does not measure instructional time, approve a school's course, verify a supervisor, or replace supervised practical work. Simulated and supplied-data reports remain labeled separately from self-declared supervised measurements. Do not infer a laboratory procedure from these briefs; an educator must approve apparatus, hazards, disposal and supervision before any physical activity.

Stored reports: 0/16. This is an organizational count only, not an AP laboratory requirement check.

Separate a mixture with an evidence trail

Choose a solvent comparison and justify resolution using measured or simulated spot distances.

Compare at least two solvent conditions, compute Rf with a baseline and solvent-front reference, and distinguish one spot from proof of purity.

Supporting lesson and model. Evidence may also come from a named public dataset or an independently supervised practical; record exact provenance and distinguish observations from calculated values.

Draft edits are saved locally. Artifact references are text only: retain actual files separately and include stable filenames, units, conditions and row identifiers. Do not include private identifying information about students or reviewers.

Nonempty fields are a storage requirement, not evidence that the investigation was performed correctly. Review every criterion against the actual report.

Evidence boundary and sources

Briefs and rubric are original. Laboratory requirements checked 30 October 2026 against the College Board course audit; conceptual scope follows the course framework. A reviewer may request a genuinely different assignment, freeze its prediction and method, then retain a response. Identity and unfamiliarity remain declarations, not independently authenticated facts.

Save a science backup or import one

Science work is stored locally in this browser, separately from mathematics and AI. It does not sync automatically. Use this science-only backup; this checkout's older all-subject export does not include science.

A legacy file is available only when the complete snapshot fits the 36 MB limit. For larger snapshots, prepare a complete file set below; never discard notebooks to make a smaller file.

Matching imported notebook drafts replace their current drafts. Omitted lessons and known first attempts remain. Export your current work first if you want to retain both drafts.

Complete file sets and course backups

A file set can hold more work than one science file. Keep its manifest and every part together. Each file is limited to 36 MB. This format needs this version of LearnAI or a compatible newer version; older versions can use only the legacy single-file backup above.

The set includes every saved science course and global continuation at this moment. Later edits need a new export. A conflicting tab exports its own visible work, which may differ from saved work in another tab.

0 file(s) selected. File order and filenames do not determine identity. Missing, changed or conflicting parts block the entire restore; no good part is applied by itself.

Science storage: loading. No account or remote computation is required.
