Choose the colours that are easiest for you to distinguish. Applies to lesson diagrams and lab plots. Labels, shapes, hatching and line patterns also distinguish meanings. Source photographs and raw image brightness stay unchanged; mask-only views are available for image overlays.

YOUR EXPERIMENT

One neuron. Endless “what ifs”.

Explore weight, bias, and learning at your own pace. This is the same experiment as your lesson; its parameters stay with you.

Three things to try

  1. Set weight to 0. Does changing the input still affect the output?
  2. Set bias to 2. Where does the line meet the vertical axis?
  3. Reset, then take one learning step. Did the average error decrease?

The example prices follow 3 × items + 2. They are invented to make the calculation easy to inspect. This is a linear model with no nonlinear activation.
